My story is fairly simple but I will elaborate to explain better.

I am 31 years old and Live in Ashland, KY in a goverment assistaed apartment. 

In september of 2008 I started having ever increasing problems from my Chrohn's disease [intestinal disorder causes pain, infalmation, surgery sometimes, etc]. I ended up losing my job which was at a local restaurant. For the next year I went through a series of being in the hospital for a painful flare-up then going home on meds that repeated the whole time.

During that time I was living at home and I filed for SSI. Somewhere near the end I finally got on an assistance program through a local hospital and got on remicade [$1,000 every 2 months] and it worked miracles. I got another job working 38 hours a week at a local business. That was late 2009. My car went through a series of problems [it is 25 years old I can't afford anthing else] in which the last repair did not allow me the money to fix. 

The job was to far to walk and no bus went there so I lost the job. I filed for unemployment and was not awarded any because the ammount of time i worked at the last job was far less then the previous job. I have the letter somewhere and it killed me. 

So now I was without a job, a car, and any hope of income. For the last five months I have kept my phone and rent paid by friends, one family member, and food stamps. 

It is very cold here in KY and I have been to all business withing a mile radious walking [in 15 degree wether] and keep getting similar responses: You can put in an application, check back in 2 months, we are not hiring right now, we just hired someone, etc. 

I am way beyond being disgusted at myself and the businesses in the area. What I really truley desperately need more then anything else is the ability to fix my car. If I can get it fixed and the insurance renewed I can get a job somewhere in this town I am sure of it.

I am down to the final wire now though. My phone gets cut-off on the 6th, my rent is due no later then the 10th [with a $25 penalty] before eveiction may start, but most of all I want to work and the price to get my car fixed is so low I know someone can help me just one time.

I am willing to verify any of my statements by phone, food stamp office, calling my bill collectors [I will give you my SSN if you sound sincere so you can talk to my bill collectors to prove I am being honest]. I have nothing to hide.

If anyone can assist me please e-mail me. Below I will list what I need and the cut-off dates. I am truley sincere. Oh and before you ask I have talked to nearly every church in town [this is not a joke]. Most of them are strapped for cash and are helping those worse off then me with holes in there rooves, food, etc. CARES won't help with phone/car nor will the salvation army I have really tried to find other help first.

So here goes:

$70 - reinstate car insurance [so i can get the next one]

$30 - renew my tags on my car [they were due in november i haven't had the money]

$180 - replace the IHC valve in my car causing it to stall every block [this includes labor]

$200 - phone [it is way behind i have been barely scraping by to keep it on due feb 6th]

$50 - rent [fixed income rent due no later then the 5th, if by the 10th $75, later eviction]

The car insurance will be through J Ryan a local company i trust, the car repair is through P&S Auto in my hometown, the phone is through windstream. I can verify any of this and give you my number if you want to talk to me by phone.

I desperately need one time assistance and will gladly pay it forward when I get a job and get back on track. Please someone consider helping. I don't have much time and I waited this long because I honest to God hate asking for help, or sounding like a begger, fraud, etc.

I am a 46 unemployed father of 2 daughters ages 2 and 3, I've been  deteriorating financially since June 2009 from the extrication of prior employer. I am unable to pay rent for November 2009 and December 2009, I've already received a eviction notice for November's payment. I have been seeking employment vigorously through internet sites, cold calling etc...Myself and my family need financial assistance to keep our home, so if you have the empathy, compasion and the desire to provide the necessary funds PLEASE ASSIST.

Hi Everyone, I need some financial assistance. After 2 long years of a long distance relationship,  I am just about to move to California to be with my  recent fiance when the IRS  levied my bank account and took the last few thousand dollars I had to my name because I was late on a payment. Even though I called the IRS to tell them what happened they didn't care. All of the money I was going to use for my bills  and moving is gone. What timing :-(  I have not received a new job yet so I need every dime to hold me over until I get it.

Is there anything you can suggest to me or donate anything would help. I had some change that I took to the grocery store and cashed in for money and gas in the car. I have so much debt from school loans and accrued bills from the past year and it's just so overwhelming and all I want to do is finally be with the man I love and have prayed for my whole life. i am a 24 year old single mother of two little girls ages 5 and 2 years. i left an abusinve relationship one year ago-and he is now incarcerated and not paying child support. My children...one is starting kindergarten this year the other has cerbral palsy and OT-PT- as well as Speech therapy-so i have been written out of work to be with her for now. we recieve a fixed income of less than $900/month...my car that i purchased 2 months ago with tax money has a cracked head and failing transmission...we are currently living with my 70 yr old grandmother who is going to be saling her house and wanted us gone as of yesterday so it is causing tremendous conflict in front of my children. i can afford rent up to $350/month max but need to be in the king NC 27021 area for school and therapy purposes....no preference on bedrooms as long as me and the children can find a safe, stable, decent, home to start healing. please contact me if you can help!!!

 Need help on catching up with my bills, single Mom but can't hardly keep food on the table about to loose everything. Don't know if suicide is the answer but sometimes I do consider it life is so hard when your the soul  winners of your house, if anyone could give any assist it will a help Thanks

To whom it may concern,

I am writing this in hopes to get a little help, I have never had the need to ask for help, however I do not seem to have any other choice. 

Last year, my father had a stroke, whiule he was living in Houston, tx.  I had to fly out there, and take care of him for awhile, and then bring him back to Charlotte, with me. To say the least, It was a very difficult experience, personnally, and financially.  I had to take so much time off of work, in order to care for him, that I fell behind with my bills. Now that I have him in an assisted living home, I have been trying to find a second job.  It is proving more difficult finding something that does'nt conflict with my day job than I thought it would be. So, now I am scraping and scrounging the best I can, to try to save my house. I'm not writing this just for the hopes of money, but for any thoughts or ideas that may be able to help my situation.

I am just glad that there is site like this out there.  I am extremely enthused this year about the holidays.  Last year I had a baby boy named Ajani on 12-1-05, what a Blessing.  Ajani has a big sister named Asiya.  When I think about how wonderful a daughter I have I sometimes tear up.  Numerous teachers and neighbors comment on her character, one teacher stated that "I wish I had 100 students like her." you know I was beaming.  What it comes down to is that I was laid off from my job July 6, 2006, then two days later Asiya and Ajani's Dad was laid off, but we pushed on I have found some part time work and am starting a business and Dad just started working about three weeks ago, but only makes minimum wage. We need to catch up on water, electric, and gas bills so I am so scared that I won't be able to honor my sweet helpful little girl. I mean this girl really sticks up for the "underdogs".  Please if you can see fit to assist me in anyway, my hope will be restored that it is okay to be human and ask for help sometimes.  I just want to see a true smile on Asiya's face Christmas Day.

 Hello. I'm looking for help. I'm a single mother of 2 - a 6 year old boy and a 4 month old boy. When I found out I was pregnant with my last child, I was told I couldn't stay in the home I was in anymore, so I had no choice but to move into my mother's home. I've been trying to make a new life for my children and myself, but so far, I've been unsuccessful. If you can help me in any way, please do so. IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
